The ZEN wireless smoke alarm remote control is a supplementary optional device that is compatible with our ZEN wireless interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms (note it is not possible to have two remotes paired to the same smoke alarm group).

No rushing from room to room in a mad panic trying to silence all your interconnected smoke alarms – the hand-held remote control is a simple and convenient method to silence or test your photoelectric smoke detectors.

Why you will love this ZEN photoelectric smoke alarm remote control:

Press the hush button once and all interconnected smoke alarms will be silenced, except for the one which is detecting the real smoke – this allows you to quickly locate the source alarm or area. Press the hush button a second time and all interconnected smoke alarms in the group will become silenced.

Hush mode duration is 10 minutes, after which time normal operation will resume.

Note: only one remote control can be paired per smoke alarm group.

Only issue was with the dumb installer (me). Thought there was a problem with one of the units, contacted Christian and he was so helpful and friendly. He was concerned about the reported fault, and immediately dispatched a replacement. Turns out that there was nothing wrong with the original! I phoned Christian again to apologise for the inconvenience and expense - he remained friendly and courteous. Heartily recommend this product and company. Thanks so much Christian.

It was the alarms that saved us all with just minutes to spare. Don’t just put in the minimum amount , put them everywhere even the garage which is a fire point. The wireless ones are the go. One goes off and they all go off. The ten year battery is brilliant , just install without replacing batteries every twelve months. Can’t recommend ZEN and Christian enough for peace of mind.
